Work is a bit lighter than usual right now, so I was thinking of doing some projects I had been thinking about. One of these projects is doing another stand-up figure set like the one I did over the summer. I'd like to do one for a show, but I don't know what to do. So I guess it's poll time!!

Poll #1375127 Diorama dramaaaaaaa

What cast should make for my next tag board scene?

The Dresden Files
Xam'd: Lost Memories
Tegami Bachi
Professor Layton
Detective Conan
Baccano! - Jacuzzi's Gang
Baccano! - Mafia
Baccano! - White Suits + Black Suits
Oh! Edo Rocket

Whatever wins/I choose to do, I'm not going to promise to do a full cast, because some of these have really large casts (which is why Baccano! is broken down into large groups). But I'm all ears for character suggestions. =)

I finished Firefly a couple of hours ago and really enjoyed it. I hope to pick up Serenity this weekend. I feel like I'm finally catching up with most of my geek friends! I now understand what you say when you talk about the series! This makes me happy. But not as happy as Jayne's hat. So damn hilarious. =D

I got in my order for the game Cross of Venus on Saturday. It seems to be about Dengeki Bunko female characters. I think it's an RPG and Battle game. Honestly though, I didn't buy it to get the game. I threw money at people and ordered the very expensive limited edition version, because it came with four mini nendroid figures: Shana (Shakugan no Shana), Index (To Aru Majutsu no Index), Taiga (Toradora), and the real prize, Kino (Kino no Tabi). Yes. I spent all that money to buy a small Kino figure. The pull was too great, I love her madly. She's absolutely adorable and gorgeous and everything about her (and the figure) is fantastic. I don't care all that much about Shana or Index, but Taiga is awesome and came with a couple replaceable parts that allow me to give her kitty ears and a tail. She's really adorable. All the figures are nice though! The lim ed came with a novel too, with chapters written by the original authors. Kino has a chapter, Horo (of Spice and Wolf) has a chapter, and there even seems to be a Narita (of Baccano! fame) chapter! The whole thing was pricey, but I'm very happy with it. =D

Yesterday I picked up the latest issue of TV guide. I've been picking them up now and again depending on what the cover story is. A couple weeks ago was a nice Bones article and cover, this week's is "TV's 35 Sexiest Stars." Honestly, my version of this article would be very different, but they did include Simon Baker and David Boreanaz. Those two definitely have my star of approval. Simon Baker was on the cover too. I cut out the pages with those two dashing men, lopped off the cover and tossed the rest. Now I have a very fine picture of Mr. Baker on my wall. Every time I look at it, I am a little creeped out because I don't think I've ever put pictures of real people on my wall (besides photos of friends and family), but at the same time, he's just so damn attractive!! The issue also led to an interesting discussion between Nur and I about Pierce Brosnan being very sexy. We happened to see some pictures of him from a while back and we think he doesn't age. He's like Dick Clark, but sexy. Crazy.

Now I have to get back to work and Pirate!Booth and Hodgekins doodling!!
