I watched the last Doctor Who episode with Ten in it this morning.
I don't know if I've ever experienced my heart simultaneously breaking and filling with relief before I watched this. The Doctor just looked so sad, it really hurt. But his last trips were so heart-warming! I was so happy to see him visit everyone like that. Still... poor, poor Ten. I really hope they visit the characters that were so important to Ten during Eleven's reign. I would love to see them again.
I thought that Mickey and Martha hooking up was sort of... random? What happened to her fiancé? Donna seemed to have gotten the short end of the stick... I'm happy that she was happy, but I wish that she didn't have to forget about The Doctor and their adventures. I was so happy when he referred to her as his best friend. I love all the companions, but for some reason that felt really nice. Oh, oh!! Wilfred was totally awesome the entire time! His conversations sitting down with The Doctor were some of my favorite scenes in both parts.
I think that it was a fantastic and fitting way for Ten to bow out, but I'll miss him terribly! Come on April, come quicker! I need some Eleven to help make the hurt less! (And it looks pretty epic)
