A slew of late birthdays and... stuff

HAPPY LATE LATE LATE LATE BIRTHDAYS TO yamikakyuu, tetrafloride, yuan_18, kithkanan, and MIKAEL!!
I'm sorry I've been so behind on wishing happy birthdays!!! T^T

I finished up season 2 of CSI: NY and am now sure that it's my favorite CSI. I can't say exactly why I like it more than the others, but I do. I also think (I understand this can be taken as blasphemy) Mac is the best Head CSI. Don't get me wrong, I'll always like Grissom, I just like Mac more. (Please don't burn me to death, CSI fans!) The last disc of season 2 had me crying pretty much ever episode. I was sobbing uncontrollably at the end of the episode with about the Tanglewood Boys Danny's brother. T^T I have the next two seasons on order and I can't wait until they come. ♥

Speaking of CSI, I'm now about halfway through the first season of the original series and I just finished the first season of CSI: Miami. Oh Horatio, you're such a blast to watch. I wasn't exactly in a rush to get more seasons of Miami, but I think if I can find them for a good price I'll pick them up. I have plenty of other things to keep me busy until then, so no rush.

I also finished the third season of NCIS and BAAAAWWWWLLLed my eyes out. Not much effects me like seeing incredibly strong characters have mental breakdowns. I haven't started season 4 yet, because I think I need a little breathing room after everything that happened. I'll probably start it next week.

I finished watching all the commentary tracks on the first season of Life and can say with certainty that they are the best commentary tracks ever. They're not so great if you want to learn all sorts of background on the episodes (thought there is a good amount), but everyone who does the commentary is so amusing! They talk about totally random stuff and are just generally silly. Plus, Damian Lewis doesn't use his (quite awesome) American accent, so you get to hear his wonderful native British accent.

Work is tough, but I've been keeping up a pretty good pace. I'm finishing up two series within the next month, so I'm feeling a little melancholy about that. Thankfully, I got a new series to work on, so the parting with the others isn't as sad as it could be! I finally have almost everything I need for Sever's headpiece, so I hope to start putting that together this coming week (along with Seikichi's top!). Ahhh, so much to do, so little time!!
