Comment and I'll give you three of your icons and three of your interests to explain.
The first icon is Conan from Detective Conan (obviously ^_~). When I was re-reading the manga this summer, I just thought this panel was so funny, especially the cat's expression... I was making a lot of retarded icons around then, and this one was just retarded enough to use. =3
The second icon is from Naona Bohra's story Three Wolves Mountain. It's one of my favorite BL series. I believe the line they are responding to here is "I don't want to come home and see you two doing the nasty." I needed a good shocked icon, and I loved this frame too much not to use. (On a side note, I was able to get my straight male friend to use an icon of the two characters in this icon making love. It was awesome! XD)
The third icon is (again, obviously) Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh with a line from LittleKuriboh's Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged series. For the longest time, my roommates and I would use this line as much as we could.
Tokiya was my first bishounen. I loved that man more than... a lot. My friends and I would write self-insert fanfiction and I would always be with him, I drew (ugly) pictures of me with him... oh man, I had such a huge crush on him. Even to this day he is occasionally referred to as "my husband." Stupid fangirly thing, I know, but I can't help it. The man is too hot for his own good.
KID-SAMAAA~! I love stories about theives even more than I love detective stories, and that's saying something. I love his morals and charm and I think he's just such a wonderful character it is impossible to NOT love him. Plus, not many people can make a white suit look that good.
Ayatsuri Sakon. EEEEE. EEEEE. This series drove me to start my collection of R2s. And to collect multiple copies of each volume of the manga. So psychologically awesome. I love the characters, I love the music, I love the colors, I just adore this series. I actually convinced the anime club I belong to to show it in club this year. Since it's "my show," I get to make the scripts for it and in doing so I have come to love this series even more... every frame is so awesome... plus the Egyptian arc! GAAAH, combining Japanese culture with Egyptian history and detectives? Too freaking awesome. The new versions of the manga have super sexy new Obata art, so it makes me fall in love all over again each time I open them up.

A couple years ago Nur gave me the Sadamitsu (♥) collection, and on the plastic wrapping he made Sadamitsu shouting, "Oh boy, it's pizza day!" That became a bit of a saying, and we started to use it for the most random pictures... especially the "I'm a psychoooo" sort of picture. So when I was looking through the Demonbane artbook and saw this picture... I couldn't resist. Look how happy he is that it is pizza day!
I love the expression on the cat's face, and Conan looks so shocked/determined(?)... I don't know... it whispered to me... "make me an icoooon~" creepy voice and everything.
XD!!! PONIES PONIES PONIES!!! Chazz (Yu-Gi-Oh GX) is such a prick, but there was one episode when he was such a fanboy. I had to take a screencap of it. I wanted an icon, but didn't know if I should use sparkles or write ponies. Obviously, ponies won out. =D
KINO. KINO KINO KINO. I remember seeing an article in Newtype USA a long time ago... I think it was my senior year of high school. The title was something like "A Boy and His Motocycle." (LOL) It sort of caught my interest... mainly, I believe, because I had never heard of it before. One of my friends was always looking for a challenge for finding things online, so I asked him to find me an episode... He found one in spanish. During my freshman year in college I somehow got my hands on the first seven episodes of the show. For the first time ever, I would watch an episode right before bed, then lay in my bed and reflect upon it. Every episode. Everything was so horrible, but so true, and it wasn't a stretch to relate it to our world. It didn't help that I had fallen for the main character. Slowly, my interest in her grew until I was obsessed. Never had any character entranced me like this! She's handsome, cute, and beautiful, she's intelligent, she's skilled, she's adventerous, she's pretty good with people, and DID I MENTION OMG I LOVE HER SO MUCH? I'm not sure at what point she became the center of my anime world, but... she did. And I'm happy about it. =D
Phantom Theives: I like thief stories even more than I like detective stories. It's fun to see how the "bad guys" do it. Phantom theives are more flamboyant and fun than regualr theives, so it's twice as fun to see how they handle situations.
Digimon: I HATED Digimon. I had never really seen it, but I HATED IT. It was obviously a Pokémon ripoff. And their arms were made of pipe cleaners. But, one day, I happened to see an episode, and I thought it was really cool. So I began watching everything I could. I love Pokémon(the show), but I love Digimon(the show) more. Things happen in Digimon. Like, stopping the end of the world, bringing together two races, etc. In Pokémon, Ash... catches a new Pokémon, gets a badge, and lets some of his totally awesome old Pokémon go. That plot works a lot better in the game. Digimon are really cool. I love how they can digivolve into so many different levels, and then go back to child-form. It's pretty convenient. And the bio-merge evolutions (or whatever they were called)? SO AWESOME. Sakuyamon ♥♥♥♥ I'm still waiting for complete DVD sets of all the seasons... especially Frontier, because oooh man, totally my favorite season. I am very jealous of the digidestined from that season... I want to be a Digimon too! And, I love TK, but Kouichi is my favorite. XD
